James Sutherland

Operations Manager

James brings over 36 years of construction experience in all aspects of general contracting, design build and construction management. A Chartered Civil Engineer, James has managed individual project ranging from $2 thousand to $40 million. Since the start of Skye Building Services James has continued to bring the “hands on approach”  to Owners regardless of the size of the project.

Ehli Remmers

Senior Project Manager

Ehli brings 23 years of commercial construction experience, the last 5 years with Skye. His experience covers all facets of construction estimating, contracting, project management and design management. Having worked extensively with American Airlines and DFW airport, he has completed over 100+ projects in 78 airports in the US and 14 airports in Europe, the Caribbean, Israel and Latin American. Ehli’s projects total $500m Project Management & $4b in projects completed.

Jesse Garza

Superintendent

As General Superintendent, Jesse is involved in managing the manpower for Skye’s field operations, safety compliance and also supervises our high profile projects. Jesse has over 43 years of construction experience and has been with Skye since it opened its doors in 2006. Jesse has the unique ability to work with owners and subcontractors, gaining their respect.

Robin Bird

Superintendent

Robin brings over 45 years of commercial construction experience with over $350 million in completed projects. His  experience includes construction management, design build, value engineering and all aspect from the beginning of a project to the conclusion.  Robin earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Oklahoma and has Robin has spent the last 7 years with Skye.

Chris Williams

Quality Control Manager

Chris brings over 28 years of construction experience. He started his career as an electrician and currently holds and maintains his electrical license. Chris has been with Skye for over 4 years and manages the performance of the work for all of our projects.

Robert Hunsinger

Superintendent

Robert brings 18 years of experience in the construction industry and 6 years in city public works. In the 5 years since Robert joined Skye, he has worked on the Terminal Renovation Improvement Project (TRIP), many Auto Docking projects and several Job Order contract projects.

Julie Watson

Project Engineer

Julie has been in the construction industry for over nine years and is responsible for material purchasing, issuing subcontract agreements and monitoring insurance status. She interacts with clients and subcontractors and addresses project issues as they arise.
